Smile Trainer: Mirror Practice

Smile Trainer turns the front camera into a plain mirror and gives you one minute to settle into a natural expression before an interview, a presentation, a photo or a conversation that matters.

A mirror and nothing more

There is no score or rating, and nothing comments on your face. The camera works as a live mirror, so the minute is yours to look, breathe and smile. It does not measure, diagnose or treat anything.

How a day works

• Open the mirror and practice for one minute with a timer
• Up to three sessions per local day, and the allowance returns at midnight
• A day streak counts the days you practiced in a row
• A history screen lists the date and time of each completed session
• English, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese, following your phone's language

The camera

The front camera feed appears on screen and is used for nothing else. Camera images are not analyzed, recorded, uploaded or stored. Your count, streak and history (dates and times only) stay on your phone.

Price, ads and choices

• Free
• One small banner ad sits at the bottom of the home screen. The mirror and the result screen never show one
• Where the law requires it (for example the EEA and the UK), a consent form asks about ads before any ad loads, and Settings has an Ad privacy options row to change the answer. On iPhone, the system tracking prompt appears only after that choice allows it
• No account to create and no in-app purchase
• Ad requests are handled by the ad provider under its own policy. See the privacy policy
