Description
Take a photo and get a starting point. Moldless looks at the colors and texture of a photo on your phone, shows a rough estimate of the possible mold type with a Low, Medium or High risk label, and opens a removal guide with steps, supplies and safety warnings. The estimate is read from color alone, with no lab test behind it, so it can be wrong. Moldless does not diagnose anything, does not name a species with certainty and does not replace a professional inspection or medical advice.

- Read the result, then open the removal guide
What is inside
- Five common household types: black, green or blue, white, pink and yellow
- A removal guide for each type: ordered steps, a supply list and safety warnings
- A call-a-professional notice on the types where cleaning it yourself is not recommended
- Safety steps you can follow: ventilate first, wear gloves and a mask, dilute bleach 1:10, and never mix bleach with ammonia, vinegar or other cleaners
- History: past scans stay on your phone, and you can delete one or clear them all
- Four languages: English, Korean, Japanese or Simplified Chinese, whichever your phone is set to
When no typical mold pattern is found, the app says so and adds that this is not a guarantee. A musty smell or dampness that does not go away can still mean mold.
Price, ads and your photos
- Free, with no account and no in-app purchase
- One small banner ad at the bottom of the History tab. The scan, result and guide screens never show one
- Where the law requires it (for example the EEA), a consent form asks about ads before one loads. On iPhone, the system tracking prompt appears only if that choice allows it, and the app works fully whichever way you answer
- Photos and scans are analyzed and stored on your phone and are never uploaded. The only network traffic the app causes comes from the ad and its consent form. See the privacy policy
