Is 12 degrees cold? It depends on who you ask. IsCold shows the weather where you are, then uses one tap a day to learn how cold or warm that weather feels to you.
A day with IsCold
- Open the app to see today's feels-like temperature, the actual temperature, the humidity and how much warmer or cooler it is than yesterday
- Tap how the day felt, from Freezing to Sweltering
- Your taps add up to an IsCold Score from 1 to 10, a number for how cold-sensitive you are
- Look back over the last 7 days to see how the weather felt to you

Your data

Questions
- Does IsCold predict how cold I will feel?
- IsCold does not make a personalized forecast. It shows the current and feels-like temperature and lets you log how the day felt. Your taps build an IsCold Score and a 7-day history on your phone. They do not change the weather card, which shows the data as it is.
- What is the IsCold Score?
- The IsCold Score is a cold-sensitivity score from 1 to 10, calculated from the five-level feedback you log over time. It is kept on your phone.
- Is IsCold free?
- IsCold is completely free. The app shows no advertisements and has no in-app purchases or subscription.
- Where does the weather data come from?
- From Open-Meteo, a free open weather service. Each time the app loads the weather, it sends your phone's coordinates to Open-Meteo to get the forecast. We do not receive or keep those coordinates.
- Which languages does IsCold support?
- English, Korean, Japanese and Simplified Chinese. The app follows your phone's language.
- Is my feedback private?
- Your feedback, your IsCold Score and your reminder settings are stored on your phone. We run no server that receives them, and the app has no sign-in.
- How long is my data kept?
- Up to 30 days of history stays on your phone, and you can delete everything at any time from Settings > Reset All Data.
- Does IsCold send reminders?
- There is an optional daily reminder that asks how today felt, at 7:00 pm by default. You pick the time on a wheel in Settings and can switch it off there.
