SureClerk
DevProduct Q&A for Shopify stores. Claude answers shoppers using only the store's own product and policy data, and questions it cannot answer go to the merchant.
The problem
A shopper on a Shopify product page who wants the price of a size, whether an item is in stock or how long the return window is has to search the page or write to the store and wait. A general chatbot answers at once, but it can also state a price or a policy the store never set.
Who it's for
Shopify merchants who get the same product questions again and again and want them answered on the storefront without checking every answer by hand.
What it would do
- Answer shoppers' questions in a chat widget on the store, in the language the shopper writes in
- Quote prices, stock and policies straight from the store's synced product and policy data
- Use Claude to write a short answer from the store's own products and policies only
- Pass a question it cannot answer from that data to the merchant, and reuse the merchant's reply word for word from then on
What it won't do
- State a price, stock level or policy that is not in the store's data
- Look up a shopper's order; it points the shopper to their account page instead
Where it stands
SureClerk is in development and is not in the Shopify App Store yet. The first version of the answer engine and the chat widget is built. The next step is Shopify's app review. We plan flat monthly pricing, which is a plan rather than a commitment.
