Information We Collect

Deklare is designed with privacy in mind. We collect only what's needed to provide and improve the app experience.

• Declaration data: Your personal declarations and practice records. Stored locally on your device and not uploaded to our servers.
• Usage data (analytics): Screen views, app opens, feature usage, device/OS information. Collected via Firebase Analytics to help improve stability and UX. Not linked to your identity.
• Diagnostics: Non-identifying diagnostics and performance signals (may be included by Firebase Analytics). We do not use Crashlytics or collect detailed crash reports.
• Purchase data: If you make an in-app purchase, transaction records are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and managed through RevenueCat, our payment infrastructure provider. We do not collect or store your payment details (credit card number, billing address, etc.). We only receive a purchase confirmation and entitlement status to unlock premium features.

In-App Purchases

• Deklare offers optional premium features through a one-time (lifetime) in-app purchase.
• Payments are processed entirely by Apple or Google through their respective app stores. We never see or store your financial information.
• RevenueCat (our payment infrastructure provider) receives anonymized purchase events to manage entitlements and provide purchase restoration across devices. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy.
• Purchase history and entitlement status may be cached locally on your device for offline access.
• You can restore purchases at any time through the app settings.

Local Data Storage

• All declaration content and app settings are stored locally on your device.
• No cloud synchronization or server uploads of your declarations.
• No account registration or login required.

Notification System

• Local notifications only: Daily reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
• No external servers involved in sending notifications.
• Notification permission is used only to remind you to practice your declarations. You can disable notifications in the app or system settings at any time.

Data We Don't Collect

• No precise location data.
• No personal identifiers (name, email, phone number).
• No biometric data (fingerprint, face, voice).
• No social media data.
• No financial account data (credit cards, bank accounts).

Analytics and Diagnostics

• Provider: Firebase Analytics (Google). Crashlytics is not used.
• Purpose: Understand feature usage and app stability to guide improvements.
• Content: Event metadata such as screen views, session counts, device/OS version. We do not use IDFA-based ad tracking nor cross-app tracking.
• Control: If you require an in-app opt-out, we can add a setting to disable analytics collection at runtime.
• Retention: Managed by Firebase under Google's privacy policy. Deklare does not store analytics data on its own servers.

• No social integrations.

Data Retention

• Declaration data: Remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
• Analytics/diagnostics: Retained by Firebase according to Google's retention settings. We do not retain this data on our servers.
• Purchase records: Managed by Apple/Google and RevenueCat. We do not independently store transaction records.

Your Privacy Controls

• Local control: View, edit, and delete your declarations at any time.
• Easy deletion: Clear data in settings or uninstall the app to remove all local data.
• Notifications: Enable/disable reminders anytime in app or system settings.
• Analytics: If you prefer to opt out, contact us; an in-app toggle can be provided.
• Purchase restoration: Restore purchases anytime via app settings.

Data Security

• App sandbox: Your data is stored in the operating system's app sandbox.
• Device protections: Your device's built-in security (passcode, biometrics, device-level encryption) helps protect local data at rest.
• No server storage of your declarations reduces exposure to server-side breaches.
• Payment security: All payment transactions are handled by Apple/Google with industry-standard encryption.

Children's Privacy

Deklare does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app does not require account creation or personal information to use.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as the app evolves. We will post updates at the policy URL and indicate the "Last updated" date.
