By downloading, installing, or using the Dearday mobile application ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. The Service

Dearday is a personal countdown / D-day utility for the dates that matter to you (anniversaries, birthdays, weddings, trips, exams, and similar personal events). All countdown titles, dates, and types are stored only on your device. The App is provided free of charge and contains no advertisements, no in-app purchases, no subscription, and no user accounts.

2. License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the Apple App Store terms applicable to you.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except to the extent permitted by law.
  • Use the App to infringe on any third party's rights.
  • Use the App in a way that violates applicable laws or regulations.

4. Third-Party Services

The App does not integrate any advertising network, analytics SDK, or remote backend in v1.0. If a future version introduces a paid tier or any third-party processor, these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated and the change will be disclosed before the feature ships.

5. Disclaimer

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any particular purpose. Your countdowns are stored locally on your device; you are responsible for backing up any information you consider important.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the App.

7. Changes

We may modify these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the store listing or an in-app notice. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

8. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue the App at our discretion.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
