Teppy: Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2026-05-29

Teppy ("the app") is a fever and medication logging tool for parents, published by Peppertree. Your privacy is the default, not a feature.

We do not collect your data

Teppy has no accounts, no sign-up, no servers, and no cloud sync. Everything you enter — child profiles, temperature readings, medication doses, and notes — is stored only on your device using the operating system's local storage (SharedPreferences). This data never leaves your phone and is never transmitted to us or to anyone else.

Because we never receive your data, we cannot read it, sell it, share it, or lose it.

No tracking, no ads, no analytics

  • We do not use advertising SDKs.
  • We do not use analytics or crash-reporting SDKs that send your information off-device.
  • We do not track you across apps or websites, and the app does not request App Tracking Transparency permission.
  • We do not request access to your contacts, photos, microphone, or location.

No purchases

Teppy is completely free. There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or ads, so we collect no payment or purchase information.

Children's privacy

Teppy is designed for parents to record information about their children. Because all data stays on the parent's device and nothing is collected or transmitted, the app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Data deletion

Your data lives only on your device. To delete it, remove the relevant entries in the app or uninstall Teppy — that permanently erases all stored data from your device.

Not a medical device

Teppy is a record-keeping tool, not a medical device. It does not diagnose, and it does not advise whether a fever is dangerous. Always follow your physician's guidance.
