RepTodo: Privacy Policy

RepTodo (the "App") is operated by Peppertree.

The App has no user accounts and does not upload your workouts. Your workout list stays on your device. From version 1.1.0 the App is free with one banner ad, served by Google AdMob. This policy explains what that ad service processes.

Information We Collect

Information You Provide

  • Workout items you create (name, sets, reps, weight and unit, caution, completion state and the reps you did in each set) are stored locally on your device only. We never receive them.
  • Exercise names you mark as favorites are stored locally on your device only.
  • Your weight unit setting (kg or lb) and the sort order you choose in the exercise picker are stored locally on your device only.

Information Collected by the Advertising Service

The App shows ads through the Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob). To serve and measure ads, and to prevent fraud, the SDK may collect:

  • Device identifiers, such as the advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, Advertising ID on Android), if you allow it
  • Approximate location derived from your IP address
  • Ad interactions (ads shown and tapped) and app interaction data
  • Diagnostic and performance data about ad delivery

This data is processed by Google under the Google Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Peppertree does not receive it in a form that identifies you.

Information We Do Not Collect

  • No name, email, phone number or account data. The App has no sign-in.
  • No contacts, photos, camera or microphone access
  • No precise location

Your Choices

  • Tracking (iOS): the App asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, the advertising identifier is not shared and you still see ads, which are then less personalized. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
  • Consent (EEA, UK and Switzerland): a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform is shown before ads are personalized. You can change your choice at any time in the App under Settings → Privacy Options.
  • Android: you can reset or delete your Advertising ID in Android Settings → Google → Ads.

How We Use Information

  • Workout items are used only on your device: to show and manage your checklist, to list the exercises you have done in the exercise picker by how often or how recently you did them, and to fill in the values from the last time you logged an exercise.
  • Your favorite exercises and sort choice are used only to order the exercise picker on your device.
  • Advertising data is used by Google to deliver and measure the banner ad that keeps the App free.
  • We do not sell your personal information.

Data Storage and Security

  • Workout data is stored locally on your device using Hive (a local database). Your weight unit, favorite exercises and picker sort choice are stored locally with SharedPreferences.
  • The App does not sync to any cloud service.
  • Uninstalling the App removes all workout data and settings from your device.

Your Rights

  • You can view, edit or delete workout items from the last 7 days at any time inside the App. Older items stay on your device, not shown, until you uninstall the App.
  • You can delete all workout data by uninstalling the App.
  • Because we do not store personal data on our servers, there is nothing for us to export or delete on your behalf. For data processed by Google, see the Google Privacy Policy linked above.

Children's Privacy

This App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last Updated" date above will reflect any changes.
