Information We Collect

Pick it! is designed with privacy in mind. We collect only what's needed to provide and improve the app experience.

  • Local Data Storage: Your lists, names, and settings are stored locally on your device only
  • No Personal Information Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers
  • No Account Required: No sign-up or login. Core features work offline; an internet connection is used only to load ads

How We Use Information

Since all data remains on your device:

  • Your personal data is never shared with third parties
  • No analytics or tracking data is collected by us
  • Advertising is provided by Google AdMob, which may collect limited data as described below

Data Security

  • All data is stored securely on your device using standard security measures
  • Your lists and settings are not transmitted over the internet
  • Only you have access to your information
  • Ad-related data is handled by Google AdMob under their privacy policy

Advertising

Pick it! displays banner ads and occasional full-screen (interstitial) ads provided by Google AdMob. The AdMob SDK may collect certain information automatically, including:

  • Device identifiers: Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android)
  • Device information: Device model, OS version, screen size, language settings
  • Usage data: Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)
  • Network information: IP address (used to estimate general location for ad relevance)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy. We do not have access to personally identifiable information collected by AdMob.

Consent

In the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland, the app asks for your consent through Google's consent form before personalized ads are shown. On iOS, the app may also ask for tracking permission (App Tracking Transparency). If you decline, you may still see non-personalized ads.

You can change your choice at any time:

  • In the app (EEA, UK, Switzerland): Settings > Ad Privacy Choices
  • iOS: Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
  • Android: Settings > Google > Ads > Delete advertising ID or opt out of Ads Personalization

Children's Privacy

Pick it! does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences and does not require any personal information to use.
