PassGenie: Terms of Service

By installing or using PassGenie ("the App"), you agree to the following terms.

License

PassGenie is provided to you as a download from the App Store and Google Play. You receive a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices you own or control, subject to the terms of the platform you install it from.

Price

PassGenie is free. There are no in-app purchases, no subscriptions, and no ads.

Your passwords

You are solely responsible for the passwords you generate, where you use them, and how you store them. PassGenie generates passwords on your device and does not transmit them to our servers. Password history is off by default; when you turn it on, entries are stored only on your device, and we have no way to recover them if you lose or reset your device.

When you share a password, the text is handed to your device's system share sheet (Messages, AirDrop, email, KakaoTalk, etc.). Once shared, the recipient can read and forward it. Treat a shared password as compromised.

PassGenie is a generator, not a password manager. It does not store your accounts, autofill credentials, or back anything up.

Disclaimer

PassGenie is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Peppertree disclaims all liability for any loss or damage arising from your use of the App or any password created or shared from it.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in App Store release notes.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
