  • Local Data Storage: Your conversion history is stored locally on your device only
  • No Personal Information Collection: We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information to our servers
  • No Account Required: The app does not require user registration or login

How We Use Information

  • Your conversion history remains on your device and is never shared
  • No user accounts or personal profiles are created

Advertising

J-Mapcode displays advertisements through Google AdMob to support free access to the app.

  • Ad Data: AdMob may collect device identifiers, IP address, and usage data to serve relevant ads
  • Ad Personalization: You may opt out of personalized ads through your device settings
  • Third-Party Ad Networks: AdMob may share data with third-party ad networks as described in Google's Privacy Policy
  • App Tracking Transparency (iOS): On iOS 14.5+, you will be asked for permission before any tracking for ad purposes

Data Transmission

When you perform address-to-Mapcode conversions:

  • Address data is sent to our API server for processing
  • The server uses third-party geocoding services to convert addresses
  • Only location data (addresses, coordinates) is processed - no personal information
  • Conversion results may be cached on our server to improve performance
  • No user-identifiable information is stored on our servers

Third-Party Services

J-Mapcode uses the following third-party services:

  • Geocoding API: To convert addresses to geographic coordinates. These services only receive location/address data, not personal information.
  • Google AdMob: To display advertisements. AdMob may collect device information and usage data for ad serving and measurement. See Google AdMob Privacy for details.

Data Security

  • Conversion history is stored securely on your device
  • API communications use secure HTTPS encryption
  • No personal data is stored on our servers
  • Only you have access to your conversion history
