Breakoffee: Privacy Policy

Breakoffee (the "App") is operated by Peppertree.

Summary

Breakoffee does not collect, transmit, or share your personal data. There are no accounts, no servers, no analytics, and no advertising. Everything you enter in the App is stored locally on your device.

Information We Do NOT Collect

  • We do not require an account or sign-in
  • We do not transmit your check-ins, goals, or health symptoms anywhere
  • We do not use third-party analytics SDKs (no Firebase Analytics, no Mixpanel, no Amplitude)
  • We do not display ads (no AdMob, no third-party ad networks)
  • We do not use trackers or tracking pixels
  • We do not access your contacts, location, photos, microphone, or camera

Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data only on your device using SQLite and SharedPreferences:

  • Coffee craving check-ins (resist count and intensity per day)
  • Coffee consumption records
  • Health symptom logs (headaches, heartburn, mood)
  • Personal goal settings (target days, reason for quitting)
  • App preferences (notification times, coffee price per cup)

This data never leaves your device. It is included in your standard iOS/Android device backup if you have one enabled, and is otherwise purely local.

Notifications

The App schedules local notifications for daily check-in reminders using flutter_local_notifications. These are scheduled and triggered entirely on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server.

Network Use

The App may open the following first-party support URLs in your system browser when you tap a Settings link:

The App does not make any other outbound network requests.

Your Rights

  • Access: all your data is visible inside the App.
  • Delete: Settings → "Delete All Data" wipes the local database. Uninstalling the App also removes all local data.
  • Portability: because no data leaves your device, there is nothing to export from our servers — there are no servers.

Children's Privacy

The App is suitable for ages 4+. Because no data is collected, there are no special considerations for children's data — there is no children's data on our side.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be announced within the App and the "Last Updated" date above will be revised.
